Antibiotic medication Cefidoz-50 Dry Syrup. It is often used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, eyes, nose, throat, lungs, skin, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract in children. It can also be used to treat children and adolescents with simple typhoid fever.
Because of the greater absorption, Cefidoz-50 Dry Syrup should be taken an hour before or two hours after meals. If your child develops a stomach ache, give it with meals instead. The dose and length are determined by the type and severity of the infection, therefore follow the doctor’s instructions for dose, time, and method. If your kid vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medication, give the same amount again; however, do not double the dose if the next dose is due.
Cold and flu symptoms are frequently caused by viruses, and antibiotics do not treat viral illnesses. Do not give this drug to your kid if he or she has them. Only when a secondary bacterial infection is detected can a doctor give this drug for cough and cold.
Vomiting, diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain, and allergies are some of the minor and transitory adverse effects of this medication. These bouts usually go away as your child’s body adjusts to the medicine. However, if your child’s adverse effects persist or become bothersome, contact your doctor right away.
Tell your child’s doctor about any past allergies, heart problems, blood disorders, birth defects, airway obstruction, lung abnormality, gastrointestinal trouble, skin disorder, liver impairment, and kidney malfunction. This information is crucial for dose adjustments and treatment planning for your child.
